New PWA Photographer Leader: Priyank Tyagi
Priyank Tyagi is one of Photo Workshop Adventures’ newest photographer leaders. Priyank hails from Delhi, India, and loves photography and travel. He has worked as a tour guide since 2011, initially for other photo tour companies, before joining Photo Workshop Adventures as a full-time photographer leader, assistant, fixer, and managing all logistics in India and the Indian sub-continent. His tours in India include Rajasthan, Gujarat, Soul of the Streets, HOLI Festival of Colors and the ancient holy city of Varanasi.
New Adventure: Eastern Cuba
We are excited to announce the addition of our 9-day Eastern Cuba Photo Tour & Cultural Adventure. We’ll be exploring Santiago de Cuba (Cuba’s second biggest city and home to the start of both Cuban Revolutions), Baracoa (the remote storybook coastal village where Christopher Columbus landed and claimed Cuba for Spain), Cayo Granma (the magical island located in Santiago harbor), and Guantanamo (home of the controversial U.S. Navy base).
New Adventure: Sardinia
PWA’s ninth photo tour in Italy focuses on the stunning seascapes and authentic rural lifestyle on the breathtaking island of Sardinia. The fabulous 10-day adventure is hosted by our talented Chase Guttman, a three-time recipient and the first American to win the prestigious “Young Travel Photographer of the Year” award.
Upgraded Adventure: Amsterdam and Holland
We’ve expanded our Netherlands photo tour to 8 days, by including some of the unique locations from the Dutch countryside.
Our 9-Point Health & Safety Guidelines
When choosing a tour provider, it’s important to know that the company you choose will follow carefully established health and safety guidelines. At PWA, we want you to know that the safety and well-being of our guests and team continue to be paramount to us. We follow guidance from multiple sources and trusted health partners, including the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the WHO (World Health Organization).
Book Now For 2022 Travel
With Covid-19 halting worldwide travel in 2020 and 2021, travel will be returning with a vengeance in 2022 and beyond. All indicators have been predicting this, and PWA is experiencing it first hand with steadily increasing reservations, especially within the last month. The recent rollout of highly effective vaccines will only intensify the demand for safe travel. We’ll ask the one question many of us have asked ourselves this past year, “Post covid, what can we expect to happen within the travel industry?” What we’re about to see is called COMPRESSION, and it is sure to put a strain on an otherwise well-oiled machine.

We are excited to announce the addition of our 12-day French Polynesia Photo Tour to Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti. This tour is lead by PWA photographer leader Michael Chinnici. Register now for September 2021 or 2022.

We are excited to announce the addition of our 13-day Kenya Maasai Mara Photo Safari. This tour is lead by PWA photographer leader Jerry Adamo.
Covid-19 Update
We expect to begin operating several tours this summer, with more to follow in September. We hope to be fully operational by October 2021 and into 2022.
