August 23-29, 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that our Iceland Photography Adventure has been completely revamped, featuring a fresh 7-day itinerary, competitive new pricing, and exclusive access to Iceland’s dramatic landscapes, including the mystical highlands.
When you think of Iceland, you likely envision surreal scenes like black sand beaches, towering waterfalls, stunning canyons, and the Northern Lights. This land is a paradise for photographers and nature lovers alike—a true journey of a lifetime and an unforgettable playground for your lens.
What’s New?
To enrich this experience, we’ve included the Icelandic Highlands, a remote and captivating region for landscape photographers. The central highlands, accessible only in summer, reveal an untouched beauty that few travelers get to witness. Landmannalaugar, with its vibrant rhyolite peaks and natural hot springs, is a highlight, presenting a vivid color palette that’s a dream for photographers. The highland lakes, often mirror-still, offer breathtaking reflections at dawn and dusk, while the vast, textured landscapes of Fjallabak Nature Reserve provide a unique perspective on Iceland’s raw beauty.
Our journey begins in Reykjavik, Iceland’s charming and vibrant capital. Here, we’ll explore this unique city, rich in culture, with iconic landmarks, cozy cafes, and colorful architecture. As Reykjavik is home to about eighty percent of Iceland’s population, it offers a lively contrast to Iceland’s more remote and untouched landscapes.
From Reykjavik, we’ll head to the southern coast, where diverse and dramatic scenery awaits: vast black sand beaches, magnificent glaciers, thundering waterfalls, expansive volcanic lava fields, and, in the summer months, lush green meadows—all within the same breathtaking region. We’ll begin our coastal journey at Reynisfjara, widely celebrated as Iceland’s most beautiful black sand beach, with striking basalt columns and powerful waves crashing along the shore, making it an iconic spot for photographers.
We’ll embark on an unforgettable adventure to Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, where a thrilling Zodiac boat ride will take us through a mesmerizing sea of floating icebergs. This is a photographer’s paradise, offering endless opportunities to capture the breathtaking contrasts, reflections, and textures of the icebergs as they drift and shimmer in the lagoon. Here, you can truly experiment with your creativity, capturing the icebergs from unique angles and playing with light, reflections, and patterns to make each shot a masterpiece. Prepare to be spellbound by nature’s artistry and fill your camera with captivating shots of one of Iceland’s most iconic landscapes.
Icelandic cuisine is an exciting part of the journey, with unique dishes like plokkfiskur (a creamy fish stew), hangikjöt (smoked lamb), and harðfiskur (dried fish) offering authentic tastes you won’t want to miss. For the adventurous, there’s also hákarl—fermented shark, a true local delicacy. This is a perfect chance to experiment with food photography, capturing the colors and textures of Iceland’s culinary delights in a truly spectacular setting.
We’ll wrap up our journey at the Geysir Geothermal Area, home to Iceland’s iconic hot springs and the Great Geysir, after which all geysers are named. You’ll have the opportunity to capture erupting geysers, colorful mineral-rich pools, and the geothermal mist that completes Iceland’s ethereal allure.
With a new price structure that offers even better value without compromising on quality, this is a perfect opportunity to explore Iceland with us. Our small-group format, limited to just 4–6 guests, allows for an intimate, tailored experience, ensuring you get the best guidance for your photography.
