French Polynesia – Bora Bora, Moorea & Tahiti

It’s not every day that you see us list a new photo adventure to some of the most exotic and remote islands in the South Pacific. Welcome to French Polynesia and Bora Bora, Moorea, and Tahiti! Join PWA leader Michael Chinnici as he takes you on this 12-day magical adventure, just an 8-hour flight from Los Angeles.

This is a very different photo adventure for us. We’ll be capturing beauty at every turn. Nature, lifestyle, people, culture, the sea, the undersea, and all while enjoying the stunningly beautiful resorts we’ll be staying at on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

French Polynesia’s society islands archipelago, a commonwealth of France, consists of 118 islands and atolls that stretch for more than 1,200 miles across the South Pacific Ocean. We’ll fly in and out of Tahiti, the cultural center to these magical islands.

The small, but beautiful island of Moorea will impress you with its green mountain peaks and plummeting waterfalls, scenic bays, and breathtaking lookouts. It’s known for its jagged volcanic mountains and sandy beaches. In the north, Mount Rotui overlooks picturesque Ōpūnohu Bay and the settlements around Cook’s Bay. Inland, hiking trails wind through the rainforest on the slopes of Mount Tohivea. The Belvedere Lookout has panoramic views of the island’s peaks and Tahiti in the distance.

Bora Bora, with its stunning Mount Otemanu (2385 ft), is one of the South Pacific’s most iconic landmarks. In Disney’s animated movie ‘Moana’, it’s easy to see how her fictional island Motunui was heavily inspired by Otemanu. The volcanic mountain is surrounded by sand-fringed Motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving and exclusive guest bungalows that are perched over the water on stilts.

These are only some of the many wonderful highlights you can expect on this adventure. To learn more, check out the new French Polynesia page. It’s not to be missed! This tour will be limited to 6-8 guests and run every September for the next few years. You can also book this as a private for yourself, or with friends and family. New Registrations Only.
