Roman was born in Zagreb, Croatia, where he studied, lives and works. After a successful career in management, his hobby of photography turned into his life’s calling. Roman’s photographic activities include shooting landscapes, flora and fauna, street and architecture photography, sports photography and fine art photography. Roman also shoots in the studio, including food and portraits, fashion and styling. Roman was a member of the international expedition “Blue Cave in 2015” Bisevo. The first documentation of the Caves that brought about modern topographical mapping and an extensive photo shoot for the first time in history.

Roman joined Photo Workshop Adventures in 2012 and plays a key leadership and ambassadorial role within the company. He became Vice President in 2016, expanding his involvement in leadership, operations, and marketing, and now serves as Senior Vice President. He leads photo adventures across Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Iceland, Romania, Spain, Netherlands, and Turkey.

Roman has received several accolades and professional recognitions in the field of photography. He is a member and Vice President of the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts for the Photography section, and also a member of the Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association.

He is also a Formatt Hitech Ambassador, representing the premium filter manufacturer known for producing professional photographic filters for over 25 years.
