Michael Chinnici returns to Rajasthan, India in 2025
January 19-30, 2025
12 Days
Join us as we embark on an exploration of the land of Maharajas and its rich cultural heritage—Rajasthan, in January 2025. This time, we are thrilled to announce that PWA Photography Leader Michael Chinnici will lead the tour. Michael’s profound love for India and its beauty is evident through his social media handles. He is dedicated to infusing new elements into our photo tours in India, from discovering new destinations to revisiting familiar ones, all while capturing beautiful stories that reflect the rich culture, history, people, and life of India.
Our Rajasthan Photo Tour kicks off with the renowned Golden Triangle, encompassing Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, with Jaipur serving as the gateway to our Rajasthan journey. Thus, you won’t miss the opportunity to behold the majestic Taj Mahal. We’ll delve into the ancient palaces, monuments, and iconic sites where the Maharajas once resided. To enrich your experience, we have arranged private sessions with a royal family, offering a glimpse into the regal life of Rajasthan. Additionally, we’ll venture into remote villages and interact with tribal nomads, providing insights into rural India.
Prepare to capture the vibrant colors of Rajasthan, not only through its people but also through its cities. Whether it’s the pink hues of Jaipur, the azure shades of Jodhpur, or the golden sands of Jaisalmer and its desert, colors permeate every aspect of Rajasthani culture and tradition. With endless opportunities for photography, this journey promises to be an exhilarating experience for every photographer.
Just as Michael says its himself:
“I’m so excited to return to Rajasthan, India, in January 2025 and reunite with our PWA India photographer, Priyank Tyagi, on an incredible adventure through one of India’s most photographic destinations. Rajasthan is the vision that most Westerners have when they imagine India. I’ll be taking you through the stunning cities of Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and many hidden gems. We’ll focus on the documentary, street, people, travel, and fine art photography opportunities. This itinerary has matured and grown almost a decade after I first scouted the region. Join me on a breathtaking experience in Rajasthan this January 19-30, 2025. I promise you a magical carpet ride through the former lands of the Mughal Kings, Maharajas, and British rulers.”
You also have the option to extend your tour and delve deeper into the essence of India with our 5-Day Varanasi extension. Beginning in Delhi, where Rajasthan concludes, this extension explores the spiritual realm and ancient traditions of Varanasi. Experience age-old Aarti ceremonies and wander through the labyrinthine lanes of this ancient city. Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, exudes a unique charm through its architecture, alleys, people, temples, and riverside. As a prominent Hindu pilgrimage site, Varanasi offers distinct photographic opportunities, unlike any other part of India.
