We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s Morocco photo tour will be led by PWA Photographer, Michael Chinnici. A decade ago, Michael discovered the country’s incredible photographic potential, laying the foundation for one of our most celebrated tours. Now, after a scouting expedition last year, he’s eager to share even more discoveries and adventures with our guests.

As a photo tour company, we’re committed to continually seeking out new opportunities and enhancing our tours to provide the best possible experience for our guests. Each year, we strive to unveil fresh perspectives and insights into each destination, ensuring that our tours evolve and improve over time. Here’s what Michael has to say about the tour:

“I’m very excited to return to our PWA Morocco Photo Tour in Sept/Oct 2024. It’s been ten years since I curated our original tour, and I’m proud to say it’s become one of our most successful photo adventures. After a recent scout to this amazing country, I’ll be tweaking the itinerary and adding a few new and exciting experiences. We’ll focus on the documentary, street, people, travel, and fine art photography opportunities. Join me in Magnificent Morocco this Sept 28 – Oct 11, 2024. 

The tour begins in the historic city of Fez and we go on to explore the blue City of Chefchouen, where we see its electric blue rinse that covers not just it’s houses, but it’s mosques and many of the buildings in the city. We will also spend few days in Essaouria, a charming port city with a bustling Medina (old town) and a rich maritime history. The tour ends in Marrakech, where the sights, sounds, and scents of the bustling souks and ancient alleyways will mesmerize you. By now you will have experienced unique adventures and places from ancient towns and architecture to people and culture.

And for those seeking an extra dose of adventure, we invite you to explore our Sahara Desert Extension. It begins in Marrakech right after the Morocco Photo Tour. Explore this natural Wonder of the World, immersing yourself in the boundless beauty of the desert landscape and delving into the rich culture and heritage of the region.
